Hey all,
I have several knives up for sale that need new homes - need to thin out the collection a bit and these guys don't get the carry time they deserve. The Protech in the pictures is SOLD in auto section.
General Provisions: PayPal only (Goods + Services), please add 3% for fees. All items will ship ASAP (typically same day) via USPS Priority Flat Rate (I'll cover shipping). If you want additional insurance, let me know - I will ask that you cover the cost. By buying anything here you represent and acknowledge you are legally permitted to purchase/possess the knives. I can email additional pictures upon request. I am open to reasonable offers on everything. If you have any questions, please ask!
Emerson Mini CQC-7: Love this little guy, but after picking up an HD-7 here on the forum it's been kicked out of my pockets permanently. This one has been carried a few times and opened a couple boxes. Lock up is rock solid, good centering, factory edge. The very tip of the blade has a slight ding on it that I tried to capture in the pictures, but it's still very pokey and sharp. $OLD.
Emerson CQC-7 Karambit: As cool as this knife is, I've discovered I'm not really a huge fan of karambit-style knives. This one has been carried a couple times but not used. Razor factory edge (sharpest Emerson I've handled actually). Centering is great. Full disclosure on this one, out of box I detected a very slight vertical "tick" in the lockup, but the lockup is still solid. If it bugs or worries you, Emerson will help you out if you send it in. $225->$OLD.
Cold Steel Tiger Claw: This one is going for the same reason as the 7 Kbit: just not a huge fan of the karambit style. Carried but barely used. This one has a serrated blade - wicked sharp, good centering, typical Cold Steel lockup. Similar to the Mini 7, there's the slightest ding on the very tip of the blade (not sure where it came from), the tip is still extremely pokey and sharp (will slice into and through hanging receipt paper). $75->$OLD.
Cold Steel Code 4: Not much to say here - another knife I carried to try out but did not use. This has a fully serrated blade (except the secondary tanto edge of course). Sharp as heck. REALLY smooth deployment, you can thumb flick this guy open and wrist flick it closed. Oddly this one has some side-to-side play which is an anomaly for Cold Steel in my experience - that's probably why it opens and closes so smoothly. You could tighten the play right out, I just never got around to it as I don't have the correct size of Torx driver. $35->$OLD.
Cold Steel Broken Skull (OD Green): Love the design of this knife, just don't carry it anymore. Carried and slightly used, but still razor sharp and in great condition. Some wear on the pocket clip and screws. Rock solid lockup. $OLD.
Cold Steel Hold Out II (XHP): Like the Broken Skull, love the knife but don't carry it anymore. Has been carried and lightly used, but is in excellent condition. Razor sharp, no visible wear marks. Rock solid lockup. $OLD.
CRKT Bundle (Obake Skoshi, Squid, Folts Minimalist): I'm selling these three as a bundle. The Skoshi and Squid were carried a bit but never used on anything. The Minimalist was carried and lightly used, but hasn't been carried for ages. All have good factory edges. Lockup on the Squid is rock solid, deployment is surprisingly smooth. $OLD for the lot.
CRKT Ripple: This was my suit knife for a while but I've moved on to an Al Mar for that purpose. Solid lockup, silky deployment, fires out hard thanks to a stiff detent. Sharp as heck, and this is the discontinued Taiwanese-made version with Acuto 440 steel. Withdrawn.
