the piece i bought sure looks blue in the photos, doesn't it?
it's not.
it's brown.
nothing in the description led me to believe it was brown.
i contacted nini.
this was the response:

if it is blue color I will mention it on title ,sorry make you misunderstand.
all mammoth ivory we sell now is brown or black.
blue color mammoth ivory is rare and expensive,also difficult to get.

so, be advised - the photos and description may not be accurate.
it would be a good idea to ask the seller what the actual color is, since there appears to be very little concern about an accurate listing.
 
sorry I never say it is blue color.also you never ask me about the color before you buy.
from edge side (the third pictures)easy to see it is brown color.
anyway if you are not satisfied what you received within 4 days,
you can return to the following address by usps:

the return shipping charge will be paid by yourside.

i'm sorry, but i must respectfully disagree.
if you're selling brown ivory, but the photos clearly show blue ivory, it really is your responsibility to accurately represent the ivory you're selling.
you should have stated that the photos were inaccurate, and the ivory was, in fact, brown.
the reason i didn't ask about the color is because the photos very obviously showed blue ivory.
the vast majority of sellers on this forum have integrity that is beyond reproach, and i never, never feel the need to ask them prior to the sale if they're misrepresent the product they're selling.
i'm not going to spend my money on international postage to return goods that you very clearly misrepresented.
i don't pay for other people's mistakes.
