**SPYDERCO GEMS FOR SALE**
Damn, this is painful, but I have to get some $$ together for an upcoming move to St. Louis. I’ve gone back and forth over this for some time and decided I’m only going to keep my Slysz Bowie, Caly 3.5 SuperBlue, and Gayle Bradley 1 with custom cocobolo scales. Everything else must go….(gulp). Almost undoubtedly, I will re-purchase every last one of these knives when I get my annual ESOP disbursement later this year, if not sooner. As I mentioned in a previous sales thread, this would be considered a rather poor example of personal financial management, but oh well….
All the knives for sale here have been regularly carried/fidgeted with, and lightly used for cutting (paper, cardboard, impromptu shrubbery trimming while on break at work). All are in excellent condition, and if there are any blemishes or other irregularities, I’ve noted it in individual descriptions. Also, except where noted, all the knives have all been sharpened once or twice on KME system at angle of 17° to 18° and stropped with kangaroo leather and 4-micron emulsion.
To the best of my knowledge, I’m the original owner of all of these. That said, the Rex45 PM2, Leafstorm, and Advocate were bought as NIB from individuals and certainly appeared to be brand new. All the others were bought from established retailers, including KnifeJoy, DLT Trading, National Knives, and Blade HQ.
Some ground rules:
1) I will consider reasonable offers (PM or email only, please, do not post on thread), although I think my prices are pretty darn fair. I'll also discount prices for multiple knife purchase, or knock some off with PayPal F&F, if we've done a transaction previously. Ask me, and I'll work out something reasonable.
2) No trade offers....this is all about raising $$.
3) Other than "I'll take the XYZ", or "Seconds", or the like...PLEASE don't post comments or ask questions on the sales thread. Instead, feel free to PM me or email me at feenanay@gmail.com. I do, however, reserve the right to jabber away meaninglessly on my own thread.
4) Prices are all PayPal G&S, with USPS Priority shipping in CONUS included.
5) In general, the first "I'll take it" post, followed by a PM or email to me to confirm, gets it, but I do reserve the right to sell to anybody. In other words, I've had some very positive experiences with some great folks here, and yes, I will show some favoritism in very rare instances.
6) Also included is a Massdrop EDC valet case, which I modified by removing those watch and pen trays and installing kaizen foam in the two lower horizontal sections for knives only display/storage, as seen in photo below. If anyone is interested, I'll sell this modded Massdrop case for SOLD.
Sheesh, here goes…

Paramilitary 2 – CPM-Rex45 steel (WITHDRAWN - I'm gonna hang on to this one) – AThis one is very hard to get at anything approaching what I think is the reasonable price I’m offering here (yeah, I paid considerably more when I bought new a few months ago). This knife is excellent condition, with the only blemish being an almost imperceptible (in most lighting conditions), small/shallow irregular scratch on the non-clip side of the blade. This must have happened during the one sharpening I did on the KME, despite me taking precautions of taping up the blade, etc. I’ve kept the Rex 45 steel free of corrosion and patina with application of EDCi formula. This is a freakin’ wonderful PM2.

Leafstorm – CPM-S30V steel (SOLD) – Another rare one that was a ‘grail’ for me for quite a while. I bought (and overpaid for) it about a month ago, but am offering at a decent price here. This knife is essentially like new in box….flawless condition. Original factory edge has not been sharpened. This is a very cool design and a beautifully executed small knife….

Domino - Red-weave Carbon Fiber (+MXG titanium deep carry clip) - CTS-XHP steel - (SOLD) – I really don’t understand why the Domino doesn’t get more love from Spyderco fans. This is an amazing knife, with the best detent on any Taichung Spyderco that I’ve ever experienced. It’s a real looker, too, in my opinion.

Gayle Bradley Advocate - Updated CQI Version- CPM-M4 steel (SOLD) – Such a beautiful knife, with fantastic action and great M4 steel blade. I love all the Spyderco / Gayle Bradley collaborations, but I decided I would only keep the GB1 with custom scales. I haven’t sharpened my Advocate on the KME, just touched it up with a Sharpmaker.

Chaparral Lightweight – CTS-XHP steel (SOLD) – What’s the deal with these Spydercos being out of stock lately? This is the newest addition to the collection, bought just last month, and in pristine LNIB condition. Original factory edge, not sharpened. Sweet backlock action.

Kapara – CPM-S30V steel (SOLD) – Another one that’s has been out of stock at online retailers for a while now. I managed to put a few small scratches on one side of the blade during sharpening (which totally pi$$ed me off at the time), but they’re not really too bad (see photos and judge for yourself). After adjusting pivot for the action I like, the centering is just a hair off, but again, not bad at all. All in all, a great deal on an awesome, recently hard-to-get knife.

Spydiechef - Updated CQI Version (+blue titanium screws by bladeswelove)- LC200N steel (SOLD) – The Spydiechef has been out of stock everywhere I’ve looked for a while now, but you can grab this sweet one now at an uninflated price, with the added bonus of the nice aesthetic touch of blue titanium screws. Like most of the Spydiechefs that I’ve heard about, this one has a touch of lockstick, but it’s pretty mild. There are a few of the usual snail trails on the titanium scales. Otherwise, a perfect example of a world-class knife.

Pakkawood Dragonfly – HAP40/SUS410 steel (SOLD) – This one is the most carried and used of all the knives for sale here, and has some scratches on the SUS410 cladding….nothing horrible, but there. Pakkawood scales look great, and backlock action is perfect.

Gayle Bradley Air – CPM-M4 steel (SOLD) – Yet another ‘grail’ for me. I actually got this for a amazingly decent price, so I’m not going to be a d*ck and try to sell it eBay-style at a ridiculous price (not that I’d do that anyway, thus the major bath I’m taking on the PM2 Rex45 and Leafstorm). Anyway, the GB Air is a featherweight gentleman’s pocketknife with a thin, slicey M4 blade and beautiful silver twill scales. Note that this knife was never sold with a pocket clip, if that matters to you, but it slips perfectly into a jeans coin pocket. As with the Leafstorm, this Gayle Bradley Air for sale is essentially like-new-in-box and the original factory edge has not been sharpened.

Smock (+Lynch titanium deep carry clip) – CPM-S30V steel (SOLD) – Sheesh, now I’m seeing that the Smock is also out of stock everywhere I look. Anyway, this is a great example of the Smock, with incredible action, centering, lock-up. The Lynch deep carry clip is the perfect add-on for this knife, in my opinion.
