1.) Murata Buho Santoku **SOLD**
Steel: Reactive iron clad Blue Paper #1 core
Handle: Octagonal ho wood
Blade Length: 165 mm

This is a solid user that doesn't see much action anymore.
I've stripped the lacquer coating from the blade.
I've also sanded off the glossy laquer coating and stain from the handle as it was way too slick for me. I didn't do a perfect job but the natural ho wood is a great improvement in my opinion, well oiled super smooth and feels really warm in hand.
Knife has been sharpened maybe a dozen times, still crazy thin behind the edge. Holds a great edge, performs awesome, no wedging, I think the geometry is spot on. Plenty of patina, no rust. Comes sharp. Comes in original box.

Handle feels good, well matched slabs.
I've thinned the edge out but otherwise has just been maintained on a ceramic hone. It's not the thinnest behind the edge, but an ample performer for the price. Comes sharp.
Plenty of patina, no rust.
