1. All for sale threads must contain a picture of the knife or item with a note showing the username of the seller, the date the thread is being made, and BladeForums or BFC mentioned on the note. To prevent photoshopping this should be hand written but if you want to print it out and take multiple pictures from angles, be my guest, but you must show the knife (or item) is in hand and available when listing.

Knife or "item" refers to a knife or another specific item for sale. Knife scales, guns, ammo, jewelry what have you are items. If you want to try to lawyer in boxes, which attempt will not be appreciated by staff here, then in the subject line you should indicate that you are selling boxes in "Gadgets & Gear". Then a photo with the boxes would be appropriate.

If that's not clear enough, then feel free to open a thread in "Tech Support" where you can see how sympathetic the site owner is to your argument.

The rule to have the actual knives displayed with the note is to prove that the knives are in the possession of the seller, and that an older photo is not being introduced where the knives are gone, but the boxes remain.

If you think it's a pain, (which it no doubt is), try keeping up with the reports we receive on an hourly basis and must be addressed.

No, you were wrong and chose to interpret the rules wrongly. This isn't the first time you've come up against the rules. And, if you weren't looking for an argument, you should have just complied instead of turning it into this which is fun for neither of us.

But, if you want to do this all day...I've got some free time.
