I finally got the time to box up some materials and put together kits.
These polishes are professional jewelers/metal working polish, and are the top of the line.
Platinum polishes and rouges are made to higher standards than regular polish. Platinum is one of the hardest metals to polish. These rouges will polish steel to a high luster. The rouges are excellent for strops, too.
There are two levels of kit:
KIT A - Advanced polishing kit. - $60 ppd
Two large blocks of coarse platinum polish
Two blocks of diamond tripoli
Two blocks of yellow tripoli
One block of red rouge
One block of green platinum rouge
One block of super white platinum rouge.
One torch - Perfect for soldering guards. Can run on Propane/Air;Propane/Oxy
Bonus - Three blocks of premium wood - Gabon Ebony;Exhibition Grade Cocobola; Stabilized Redwood Burl
$125-150 retail value, plus $70 in free wood.
( Note - some of this polish has prices written on it that is the wholesale price thirty years ago. Current prices are about $10 per bar for the tripoli polishes. The little bars of platinum rouge sell for $10-20 each, now)
KIT B - Pro Polish kit - $95 ppd
Two large blocks coarse tripoli
Two blocks yellow tripoli
Four blocks diamond tripoli
One red rouge
One green platinum tripoli
One yellow platinum tripoli
One super white platinum tripoli
One Linde A powder
Torch ( see above)
6"X1" hard felt buff wheel - puts a wicked sharp edge on with one of the finer rouges
BONUS - Three blocks of premium wood ( see above)
$200+ retail value .....plus $70 in free wood.
