I am trying not to put any flawed and 2nd quality pieces in my web store. But sometimes there will be pieces that are usable with a little extra work. So I will sell some of them at a fraction of their value.
If you want these or any others I add later just make a post saying "I ll take the batch of ...." and I will mark them sold for you.
Payment needs to be by paypal within 24 hours. If you are getting a batch send me a PM with your email address for paypal and I will send you an invoice for payment.
These blocks are Red Morell burl from Australia that were stabilized by K&G.
Do not use these for scales. If you are making a hidden tang knife they should work out ok.
There are a bunch of small checks that follow the burl eyes. Small enough that they are tough to see in the photos.
If you just shape and buff the handles it will look bad.
But if you take some extra time to fill the checks with CA glue it can look good.
These are blocks that would normally sell for about $75 each.
