I have finally finished posting some blocks of Untreated Rosewood Burl in my web store (www.BurlSource.us). These are untreated blocks, they have not been chemically stabilized.

This is a small batch of a hard to get type of wood. Especially this quality. Even if you are unable to get a piece I thought you might like to see the photo. It is some very nice looking wood.

I don't know how many pieces there were but I must have been very late to the party this time.

Even before all Mark's blocks flew off the shelves, the rosewood burl would go almost instantly the past couple times he put some up. I was lucky enough to look at my phone in the middle of the night and snag a block this time. It's like winning the lottery.

When I woke this morning they were all gone.
I apologize to those of you who were disappointed.
I will keep trying to get more.

So far this year most of the new batches going into the web store have been selling out quickly.
I am trying to post as much as I can in my web store as soon as it is ready.
With stabilized wood I am sending in larger batches than before. But....I am trying to make sure that I only provide really good stuff.

The Budget Blocks section has been re-opened in the store.
Those are stabilized blocks $30 or Less. There have been some requests for lower cost stabilized wood that could be used on inexpensive or utility type knives as well as other projects that do not allow for the extra cost of the high end woods. I do not want to supply plain or low quality woods so there will not always be a large selection in this section. But the pieces you find here will be good quality pieces that are a good deal. This photo is an example of one of the new blocks in this section.

Just a quick heads up of what is currently in stock in our web store
In the Budget Blocks Section (http://burlsource.us/budget-blocks-30-or-less/) There are 17 stabilized blocks priced at $30 or less.
In the Stabilized Figured Wood section (http://burlsource.us/stabilized-figured-wood/) there are still 10 stabilized blocks priced from $35 to $55.
In the Stabilized Dyed Wood section (http://burlsource.us/stabilized-dyed-wood/) there are 3 stabilized blocks priced from $35 to $40.
Currently the Stabilized Burl Wood section is empty.
I am waiting for more wood to come back from the stabilizers. As soon as I know what is coming and when it will arrive I will make a post to let you all know.
