I’m continuing to sell off knives that I’m just not carrying, usually because of personal ergos preference. All prices are for PayPal G&S with the knife shipped first class. First person to unconditionally claim a knife publicly and then promptly follow up with a PM and payment gets it. No trades at this time, please. Here are the knives:
- Boos Blades Smoke TS1. SOLD. I’m just not a front flipper kind of guy. At one point, I took this apart for some maintenance, but the pivot is tricky, and it didn’t fall back into place right away, because it’s not a circle, which led to some small marks on it, which you can see in the pictures. Other than that, the knife is in terrific shape.
- Ferrum Forge Ferox. SPF. I did some research, and this knife is impossible to buy right now. Couldn’t find it anywhere. (OK, OK, I don’t belong to Reddit, so I didn’t check there.) BHQ was selling one for about $500 at one point. The knife is not new, but the stonewash very effectively hides use. (I love stonewash for this reason.) This knife is rather overbuilt and I don’t need anything that beefy, though I still do find this knife to be quite attractive.
- PM 2 in M390. SPF. BNIB. Like everyone else, I bought this at a ridiculously inflated price for someone on this forum. It sat in my drawer, and I finally decided my PM2 in S110V is just fine for me.
- Benchmade Mini-Crooked River. SOLD. Catch-and-release. The look didn’t quite work for me, though the ergos did. The blade is not centered, though it’s also not rubbing, and the grind is not perfectly symmetric. Rather than take this apart to center it, and rather than do my own sharpening, I’m letting it go for a discount to reflect its imperfection. Benchmade will, of course, fix these things free of charge for you if you send in the knife.
