so i was thinking and decided that i would rather have one or two really good knives like a southard tolk midtech and a microtech scarab instead of having a bunch of midrange production knives. so here are three of the knives im selling. These knives were all users and as such have some wear. i took a lot of pictures and i will do my best to show all the areas of the knives that show signs of use. All three knives come with their original boxes including what ever paperwork came inside the box when i bought them. all the boxes are in good shape but they arent perfect. If the condition of the box is really important to you let me know and i can take some detailed photos of the box for you. I bought all of these knives new and i have been the only owner and user. They have been treated very well, i have only used them for cutting. I never used any of them for prying nor abused them in any way.

The first knife is a
zero tolerance 0770cf in M390.$175 shipped $160 shipped SOLD
The regular 0770cf uses Elmax steel. This one is a distributor exclusive and has M390 steel produced by Bohler-Uddeholm which is one of my favorite steels. The serial number of this knife is 0600. I dont know why but i always liked that the serial number is 600 i guess its just nice to have a nice round even number I was told by the seller that 750 of these were made in m390. However i do not have any hard evidence of the number made so i cant be 100% sure of the exact number
As you can see in the photos this knife is in great condition, I did modify the back spacer. I sanded it down so it would be silver instead of black. I think it turned out great and looks great as it now matches the color of the silver pivot and screws. This is only a cosmetic change and has no impact on the function of the knife.
Knife number 2 is a Spyderco Positron in CPM-s30v$150.00 shipped $140.00 shipped $135.00 shipped SOLD
The Positron is the second spyderco collaboration with Brad Southard.
ive only carried this knife a couple times and its in great condition. There is a nick on both sides of the blade in the plunge line near the handle. The angled plunge line on this knife caused may sharpening stones to grind a tiny nick when i sharpened the knife. I also rounded off the rear of the handle because it was very pointy which created a "hot spot" and made it uncomfortable to hold in certain positions. With the point smoothed out the knife is much nicer to hold. the photos below show the rounded point
here are the Pics of the smoothed out pointy part of the handle
The tiny nick/grind mark on the plunge line is visable in these two pictures
Knife #3 is a a Spyderco Manix 2 light weight in CPM-s110v$75 shipped SOLD
This knife didnt get carried very often since i prefer flippers. I bought it because i wanted to try a knife is s110v steel. The steel is great, it holds its edge for a very long time
The blade has some scratches on it that i did my best to get pictures of.
I was pretty new at sharpening when i got this knife and i accidentally sharpened more on the right side of the knife compared to the left this only appears to be at the tip of the knife. I think the reason this happened is because of my lack of experience and i was using a gatco sharpener at the time which causes the angle your sharpening at to get smaller the further away from the clamp you get. I think thats why the right side of the blade has a larger bevel than the left at the tip. a couple of the photos show what im talking about. I dont know what effect this will have on the performance of the knife but i havn't been able to notice any issues. This should be easily fixed by someone who knows how to properly sharpen a knife or you could send it in to spyderco for their free sharpening service
These pictures were the best i was able to get to show how one side of the blade is sharpened more
If you need any other photos of a certain part of the knife let me know and i will do my best to get it
