1.) Takeda AS 210mm Bunka

8 1/2" cutting edge
14 1/2" overall
Aogami Super blue core steel with reactive iron cladding
Octagonal rosewood handle with pakkawood ferrule

This one initially came to me quite thick behind the bevels which caused some gnarly wedging. I sent it directly to Mr. Takeda who thinned it out for me and it slices like a dream now.
Used for a few weeks for veg prep in my kitchen, lightly sharpened a couple times. Some patina forming. Some light sharpening scuffs. Comes sharp.
Extremely lightweight and nimble, wide blade, flat blade profile, I love everything about this knife. I won't be too upset if it doesn't sell.
Comes with original box.
I paid $300 for this new, plus a $50 tracked and insured trip back to Japan for the regrind.
Asking $220 $200 shipped CONUS **SOLD**

2.) Masakage Shimo 165mm Nakiri

Weight: 5.0 ounces
Blade Length: 165 mm (6.5")
Overall Length: 320 mm (12.5")
Thickness at Heel: 3.3 mm
Blade Height: 59.3 mm
Steel: White #2 clad in reactive damascus (61-63HRC)
Handle: Octagonal magnolia (ho) with black pakkawood ferrule

Excellent slicer, and all around performer, I've really enjoyed this knife. Very light, very thinly ground.
Used for a couple months for veg prep in my home kitchen.
Sharpened a few times and thinned out some at the edge, some sharpening scuffs visible. Comes sharp.
Bevels are a bit uneven in places due to some slight waviness in the blade, doesn't effect performance whatsoever. No overgrinds or food accordioning issues.
Plenty of patina, no rust or pitting.
Handle has been smoothed out with 600 grit sandpaper and treated with mineral oil. Feels great.
Comes with original box, stamped quality assurance card, and coin.
I paid $160 for this.
Asking $100 $85 shipped CONUS **SOLD**

3.) Takeo Murata Wide Petty (Kobocho) 120mm

Blade length: 4.75 in.
Total length: 9.60 in.
Blade width: 1.45 in.
Blade thickness: 0.10 in.
Weight: 2.30 oz.
Blade: Aogami 1 (Blue #1) with reactive iron kurouchi cladding, Rc 64
Handle: Octagonal ho wood with buffalo horn ferrule

Lightly used for vegetable prep a handful of times.
Edge has been thinned out some and comes sharp. Some sharpening scuffs towards the tip on one side of the blade that the pictures didn't pick up too well.
Lacquer blade coating has been stripped. Some patina forming.
Handle has received a few coats of mineral oil and has been smoothed out with 600 grit sandpaper.
Excellent fit and finish as far as I can tell, feels great in the hand, plenty of knuckle clearance to chop with pinch grip, ground thin behind the edge.
Comes with box.
I paid close to $90 for this with shipping.
Asking $45 shipped CONUS **SOLD**
