1. Northfield 130117 Whip Gabon Ebony + Dark Green Buttero Calf Leather Custom Slip [$130]
Condition: BNIT. Purchased new from dealer. Unused. Catch and release
2. Tidioute 142116 Lick Creek Boys Knife + Black Chevre (Goat) Chagrin Leather Custom Slip [$OLD]
Condition: I'm second owner and it looked unused when I got it. I've sharpened to a 0.1 micron polished edge (approx 17-19 dps). I've never personally carried it after sharpening, although it was my intent initially. Great for light EDC around the house inside a shirt pocket or a coin pocket.
3. 2016 Bladeforums Knife "The Drover" + Wickett & Craig English Bridle Custom Slip [$OLD]
Condition: I'm second owner. Received knife with three scuff marks (see pics). Mark on the bolster is slight (difficult to capture on camera) as was the main blade scuff caused by slight contact with secondary blade (this is my second 2016 BF knife and both had the same problem) Still has factory edge. I've never carried or used it, no patina, and looks beautiful
Custom slip: Fits this knife like a glove. 15/56/83 frames could work as well, albeit a less-snug fit.
4. Tidioute 47P116 Harvester OD Green Linen Micarta + Wickett & Craig English Bridle Custom Slip [$OLD]Custom slip: Fits this knife like a glove. 15/56/83 frames could work as well, albeit a less-snug fit.
Condition: BNIT. Catch and release
Custom slip: Fits the knife snugly. Pull the adjustable leather lanyard to remove from sheath. This is probably the most versatile slip I've made. Final design ended up resembling a gun holster. Very pocket friendly. 35/72/74 frames fit snugly. Smaller, single backspring frames will work as well, but it would be a looser fit (double backspring 15 frame fits snugly)
5. Northfield 65115 Ben Hogan Antique Autumn Jig Bone [$OLD] + see note 2 for a custom slipCustom slip: Fits the knife snugly. Pull the adjustable leather lanyard to remove from sheath. Condition: Bought it unused from another BF member. I haven't used it either. Looks brand new. Catch and release
Note 1: When closed, blade centering favors the unmarked side (approx 40/60). I've read reviews from other 65 Ben Hogan owners and it's not an uncommon thing for this model. It doesn't affect function and the blade doesn't rub against liners. Beautiful knife!
Note 2: I made the pattern for a custom slip for this knife, but I never got around to actually put one together. If you want one, add $25 to the price. I usually ship the same day as long as the transaction is complete by 2pm PST, but I'll ship the following day if I'm also making the slip. $25 includes slip that looks similar to the Northfield 13 whip in this listing, but in english bridle leather. Additional customization like stamping and adding clip are extra (PM or email me azslipcraft (at) gmail (dot) com for info).
