So I decided to take the custom plunge and as a result I'm (reluctantly) selling most of my collection to fund it...

These were all stored in a Boker knife vault, and made very few appearances outside of it so these are the first to go. As the topic states, these are priced to move, but non-lowball offers are always welcome. Again, I'm looking to sell these to fund a custom, so no trades please.

All of the prices listed are what you pay total (includes shipping and fees as it should)... I don't like "net to me" so I don't practice it. Paypal only and CONUS only please.

For Sale:

Southern Grind Bad Monkey 4" Drop Point Jade Green: Perfect centering, early lockup, factory edge... I carried this once, and cut nothing with it- it looks new IMO... You can feel the quality in how smooth this knife is, but it's just a bit bigger than I like in an EDC. Also this comes with the SG Tool Kit, leather can holder, and SG para-bracelet. Asking $old

Hinderer XM-18 3.5" Wharnecliffe S35VN Battleship Gray: Perfect centering, early lockup, factory edge... I preferred the skinner so this only got carried a couple of times and has only cut paper. Beautiful knife! Includes box and tactical peanuts. Asking $old

Hinderer XM-18 3.5" Skinner S35VN Hunter Green: Perfect centering, early lockup, lightly used and sharpened on a wicked edge... I love the skinner grind and if everything else sells before this one, I'll likely keep it. Includes box and tactical peanuts. Asking $old

Spyderco Paramilitary 2 S35VN Sprint Brown: Perfect centering and the smoothest Spyderco I've ever handled... I've carried this a few times, but the G10 in pristine... In looking the knife over with a fine tooth comb, I noticed very light snail trails under where the clip touches (likely from clipping to jeans) but it is impossible to photograph. I'll include the Spyderco lanyard as well. Asking $old

Side note: the Microtechs pictured have been $old

PM or email me with any questions. Standard "I'll take it" rules apply and I'll go by timestamp.
edit: "I'll take it" rules to me does not simply mean posting the first "I'll Take It" when someone ahead of them is already asking about that item. There's a human element involved in my rules obviously to weigh in on what I think is fair. You don't have to agree, your version of the rules may differ, and ultimately I reserve the right to sell to whomever I decide.

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but this has happened to me before. You wrote above in your post, "PM or email me with any questions. Standard "I'll take it" rules apply and I'll go by timestamp." So, you received an email from solman before 8:08am that stated "I'll take it"? Again, I mean no disrespect, I'm just asking, because I feel like I was the first to state "I'll take it." But I could be wrong.

I received an email asking specifically about the wharny at 810am. Checking timestamps in here, he posted specifically about the wharny at 805 (seconds after your "I have a question post") so my assumption is he sent the email prior to posting email sent in here meaning he got in ahead of you. Regardless, he asked about the wharny ahead of your ill take it.

If you had simply said, I have a question about the wharney or anything quoting a specific item, or emailed me ahead of asking to be emailed and your email came in before his, this wouldn't be an issue. I'm trying to be fair on this especially considering the opening thread says PM or email me (which you had quoted there) and my name is linked to email.

Sorry you keep getting burnt on the I'll take it rules, we can continue the discussion via email if you want

Yep, email sent. I'll just point out that, based on your quote above, I had to have been first to specifically say "I'll take it," if the timestamp on solman's first email was 8:10am, since I posted "I'll take it" at 8:08am.

you definitely were... I like many others on here, use "I'll take it" as a guideline to weed through similar interest on an item to avoid drama but do not take it literally.

So that there is no confusion for anyone else, i'll take it rules to me does not simply mean posting the first "I'll Take It" when someone ahead of them is already asking about that item. There's a human element involved in my rules obviously to weigh in on what I think is fair. You don't have to agree, and your version of the rules may differ.

Actually, sellers avoid drama precisely by using the "I'll take it" rule literally. It removes all subjectivity from the situation and avoids any grounds for frustration on the part of buyers. I'm not omniscient or omnipresent, but I've never seen the "I'll take it" rule used here non-literally. If it is not intended literally, it should not be used. Simply state that you will sell to whomever you want, and then there is no problem. Don't worry, I'm done now...I won't post in this thread again.
