Youre right... thanks. The education never ends...
I thought there was only 2 gens, the AUS8 and the latest CTS-XHP steels. looks to be 4(or more versions total.)
So Im not 100% sure what gen this is but it may be the version right before the CTS-XHP steel. I added a pic which shows jimping and lockback placement.
It says "Taiwan" on blade if that helps.
I still think my price is decent for a new AL of any gen.
