Ok I'm going to put a few GECs that I haven't used for sale to fund other knives and a new phone. All of these knives have never been used only looked at.

Paypal preferred. International customers add $12 for shipping.

GEC #79 Workhorse Whittler in Calico Bone. This one is beautiful, the bone has a depth that just doesn't come across in pictures. I really like this knife, but it has just been sitting in the tube since I took these pictures, it may be too nice to use for me.

asking Withdrawn

Third I have a new unused, uncarried, unsharpened GEC #23 Liner Lock in Bocote. It is super solid, no wiggles anywhere and locks up SOLID.

asking TRADED.

GEC #85 Harness Jack in Ebony. The etch has been flitz'd off, but the knife is otherwise unused, uncarried, unsharpened. This knife has nickel liners and pins (as opposed to the typical brass).

asking $SOLD.

I would consider trades for:
GEC #48 Trapper Jacks
GEC #85 Jacks with pen secondary
GEC #68 White Owl
GEC #33 Conductor
other GECs? make an offer.

For reference my scale is:

10 - unable to open by hand
9 - able to open but breaking a nail likely
8 - able to open but very stiff, tough for edc use
7 - firm pull, edc range
6 - ideal edc range
5 - nice for secondary blades, tad light for a main blade
4 - starting to get too light for use
3 - maybe acceptable on very old knives
2 - barely closes
1 - does not stay closed

I know we are not supposed to comment on sale threads, but I think your reference scale is a helpful guide. Everyone assesses differently so stating what you mean by each of the numbers is a great idea. Maybe you should start a discussion on this in the traditionals forum.

PM replied. Thanks for looking everyone. I am going to withdraw the #79 as I have decided to keep it for now.
