I wanted to talk about the fit of the sheath on the RMD. It's very snug, snaps in tight with almost zero play. If you shake it hard, you can hear a very quiet bit of rattle, but barely any at all. It's whisper quiet.
I received this BG TG from a member here and so I do not know who performed the work on this blade, but it's a nice strip job with the logo basically gone, and the edge has been convexed nicely. I have used this lightly and it is still sharp. There are just a few small spots that have developed around the guard and pommel, pretty much all on one side, as well as a marking on the flat near the fuller that was already there when I received this. They should all be able to be removed with a bit of effort. I have tried to capture these imperfections in the pictures below.
