1.) GEC #98: Texas Camp Knife. The notorious beast. I actually received this one from a relative who scored it recently. The walk and talk is the best I've felt on a multi-bladed knife. The pull is about a 6.5 and so, so smooth. The knife overall is in great shape, sans the typical bolster swirls. It has an extremely keen edge on it and has been sharpened professionally. Other than that, it's beautiful.
Comes with tube and paper. I'm asking Sold Sold Sold.
2.) GEC #82: Maroon Dixie Stockman. This one is certainly not a safe queen. I carried it a few times and the previous owner seemed to have carried it often. I believe the edges are factory. There is some patina forming, mild scratches and dings on the bolsters and the blades have a slight patina and minor scratches. The pull on all three blades are approximately a 5.5. I want to make it clear that this knife was probably a user in its past life. Still a great example from GEC's earlier days.
Comes with tube and paper. I'm asking Sold Sold Sold
3.) Schatt and Morgan: #376 Swell Center Black Micarta. Bought this guy recently from another member. It's a beautiful knife with f&f slightly above Queen's typical par. The blades seem unused and bolster/shield marks are minimal. Looks nearly new. The pull on the main is a 6-6.5 and while the secondary blade is smooth, the main sort of hesitates halfway. Almost acts like it has a halfstop but technically I wouldn't consider it as one. No wobble on this fella. The print on the main blade is a little worn out looking; Probably from the factory.
Comes with its original box. Asking Sold sold sold
4.) Sears Craftsman: Large Stockman. I received this knife in the last few weeks but since it's my newest piece, it's defaulted to go. Amazing quality on this one and I've owned quite a few Craftsman stockman. The snap on all blades are surprisingly crisp and the blades are solid and full. There is a little spot on the clip main that you can see in the photos. There is some rub markings on the main blade but it's very hard to see or photograph. Pull on all is a 7.
No packaging on this vintage piece of Americana. Asking $40
