Hey BF, I'll be moving in a few weeks from Memphis to St. Louis for a fantastic job opportunity and although I'm quite fond of these knives, the five that are priced aggressively for quick sale here were the only ones I could bear to part with for now, but can relatively easily re-acquire later when I get my relocation bonus in my first paycheck. (This, by the way, is bad financial management....haha!)
General Notes: All of these are in excellent condition and have been acquired in the last month, except the Manix 2 LW that I got on BF in March. All have been carried, but lightly used (slicing paper, cardboard, and Ninja-like trimming of shrubbery outside my office). All have been sharpened on KME to 17 or 18 degrees apex and then finished with kangaroo strop / 4-micron emulsion. I'm the original owner of all, with the exception of the Manix 2 LW. The Maxamet Native 5 and ZDP-189 Delica 4 have been treated with EDCi formula for corrosion prevention. All blades and scales are scratch-free and have no marks or blemishes, from what I can I see.
All sales are by PayPal G&S, with shipping by USPS Priority TYD....sorry, but CONUS only. Please PM or email me at feenanay@gmail.com with any questions, and reserve posting on this thread for an "I'll take it", "seconds", or the like. First "I'll take it" by post or PM on any individual knife gets it.
Sooo, here we go....
Native 5 Lightweight - Maxamet steel (SOLD) - Outstanding backlock action on this one. Flicks open with thumb or middle finger, and blade falls about halfway shut when releasing backlock. Nice sound, too...
Delica 4 - ZDP-189 steel (SOLD) - Aftermarket black deep carry clip installed, original included in box. Similar backlock closing/opening action to the Native 5 mentioned above.
Caribbean - LC200N steel - 'leaf' blade shape (SOLD) - Although this compression lock isn't quite the free fall marvel when released like your standard PM2 or Para 3, it's still quite smooth. Drops free about 1/4 to 1/2 way and finishes closing with a shake or two. It's been getting better and better as it's been breaking in, just like Advanced Knife Bro mentioned in his great review of this knife. BTW, if you haven't seen that AKB YouTube review on the Caribbean, do yourself a favor and check it out. Freakin' hilarious and informative....probably my most favorite gear review video that I've ever seen.
Manix 2 Lightweight - CPM-S110V steel (SOLD)
Para 3 Lightweight - CTS-BD1N steel (SOLD)
