A few weeks ago I purchased and brought new life to this ~ 1900s hatchet. I brushed off any light surface rust, sharpened/polished the edge, and re-hafted properly on a new American hickory handle. I don’t get any particular use out of these and solely derive enjoyment from the restoration, so your purchase will aid in purchasing more heads and supplies to feed this habit
