I have collected and owned every GEC "Beaver Tail" knife and these two special factory orders were the hardest to obtain.

These 381117 models were a special factory order for the Federal Wildlife Officers Association. Members of the FWOA could buy one or both options. The options were:

381117 Tidioute Antique Amber Jig Bone: 21 produced per GEC records.
381117 Tidioute Autumn Leaf Jig Bone: 30 produced per GEC records

I found the Autumn Leaf Jig bone in an ebay auction. I have only seen one other example and it was in the possession of a FWOA officer. This piece looks to have been carried and please see the pictures so you can see that the blade has seen use. It is not abused but it does show discoloration.

I found the Antique Amber Jig Bone by purchasing it directly from an FWOA Officer. I have never seen another one for sale. This one is in like new condition.

Do not get these models confused with the standard 381117 beaver shield that was produced. The true FWOA special factor orders have a badge etched/lasered onto the blade. They also came with leather sheaths and a tube that describes the FWOA.

I am selling these pieces together because they should go to a collector that understands the rarity and is actually interested in owning them. These are not for everyone. I get that.

Please feel free to ask me any questions.

If I had to price these based on the difficulty of finding them, I'd never be able to sell them. I can't give them away either. With that said, if you are interested in owning two knives with some cool history, the price is $550, shipped.
