I lost my 10 a few times and each time it was in between the couch cushions. Keep using your 10. It will grow on you. I have several Emersons now and the new Emerson usually gets kicked out of my pocket by the CQC10.
 
You're right. The 10 is growing on me. It's a great size for carry it's very comfortable to grip.
 
Look at it this way.....Buy another and if you happen to find your original, you will have two excellent knives that you already know works for your needs. At this point you don't have a valuable tool and you need to have one on you so buy another in good Conscience.
