All the knife I need.

I used to carry a Vic Classic everyday, and it still gets some pocket time, but I prefer a Leatherman Micra as a small tool. The narrow blade on the Classic is also something I dislike, feels kind of funny to use, the Peanut blade suits me a lot better.

The narrow (short?) blade is my favorite, actually. Makes for a great penknife. It is thin, ground well, gets very sharp, and flies under the radar. Never liked the blade on the small LM's due to the chisel grind.

I find that I could probably survive most of what my life throws at me with my Vic mini champ.

Other than replacing the scissors spring due to wearing it out, it has held up very well.

Boy the thousands of dollars I could have saved if not for this OCD.

Quoted for truth :D
Until I found this place I was pretty oblivious and happy carrying around a SAK in a belt pouch, SwissChamp for work, Huntsman for Scouts and everything else.
Take that one little step into the world of traditionals...! And I couldn't be happier

Funny how a lot of people here carry one pocketknife, some 2 or more, and yet we all seem to have the SAK on our keychains we take for granted--yet those are all that 99% of people use. I've given my older brother several knives, nice slipjoints and custom fixed blades, but what does he have with him every day? That little keychain gadget that does everything he realistically needs! Who does he think he is? ;)

I wish the Alox Ramblers weren't so rare/expensive else I'd have one of those on my keychain.

This is so true! I had a midnite manager (it is now on my wife's keychain) along with a folder and realistically, the SAK got more daily use than my folder! I check my mail everyday and found the small blade on the SAK was easier to use to open envelopes. And when I needed to cut a thread, the scissors were right there.

It's certainly discreet, but I find that for something only slightly bigger, the Peanut has more versatile blades. They're small, but wide enough to spread stuff and do a whole host of things I wouldn't use my Classic blade for. The blade on my Micra is a flat-ground clip, quite a useful little blade I find, though the scissors, bottle-opner, and screwdrivers probably get used more.

For years, I and my Girls all have a Classic and a safety whistle on our key rings

I am always useing the sissors, file, and tweezers

All the knife I need.
Interesting words
What do they mean?

MY main knife is a benchmade . I use a sequel when I go to Church .I have to put the bulletins out and then break down the empty cardboard box which I wouldn't want to do that with a tiny knife like the classic.

You might give the Classic a try some time. I recently found myself at the recycling dumpster with a large cardboard box and only one knife in my pocket: My Rambler. That thin, sharp blade actually sailed through the cardboard quite easily. No complaints at all!

Yeah, I'll probably exhange my current keyring for a mini carabiner hook with a twistlock or something so I can take the knife off when I need it ...

Exactly! When I tote my Rambler or L'man Micra, they go onto the carabiner with my keys and a tiny flashlight. Very simple to remove.

Looks like a good setup to me! I must say I think the scales on these are under-rated. Love the way they look when they get nicely worn like yours and the green one on page 1.

And, come April 25, you will be able to carry one on a commercial flight.
