All the uses of Vinegar as a SHTF stockpile item.

Absolutely.
My mother used vinegar for cleaning, excellent at fighting mold growth.

It also puts a nice patina on carbon steel too!

it takes the edge off hunger too.....

i have preached apple cider vinegar since i was a kid...

still take shots of it a couple times a week....:D

something not included is that vinegar can be added to regular milk to substitute for buttermilk in cooking recipes. I cant remember the actual amounts, but I'm sure its somewhere in the interwebs.

I marinade my steaks in apple cider or balsamic vinegar. Gives it the best taste!!!

I love vinegar for all it's uses, but unfortunately, the smell is an emetic for me. As soon as I smell it, I throw up about 1/2 a second later.

I hear a lot of guys drinking it.
Say, a teaspoon before a meal for digestion.

Also, you guys that "drink" it. How much of the Apple Cider vinegar are you actually drinking, and why?

I can confirm that it will clean the HELL out of a coffee pot. I have an old Perculator style pot and its bright and shiney on the inside.
Once a week, I pour about a cup of white vineger mixed with about 2 tablespoons of baking soda in the pot, and let it run a cycle.
After that, some of the toughest and oldest stains will wipe right out.

I love the flavor when it's cut with oil - like in salad dressing. I wish I could do shots like you all. I tried once, put a couple teaspoons in a glass of water, then (wisely) went outside on the front lawn to try. Even held my nose. Didn't work. Didn't hurt the grass, though.... ;)

I've heard that it's also very good for strep throat, don't know if it's the pH or the chemicals though.
