All Time Favorite Spyderco?

My Para2 is my "all time favourite", and I also really like my Tenacious, but I EDC a Byrd Meadowlark 2 and love that little thing.

Isn't it almost always your latest?

My latest is my brand new Caly 3.5. and whilst it really is too early to say - it has to be a contender... :)

Military. I thought for long time that it was too big, however, ever since I got one I can't get it out of my pocket. By far the best cutting machine I own.

I am having a tough time on this one. I would have to say the Manix 2 with the black blade and black clip is my favorite. My second is the PM2 in Brown, but I dont ever carry that one coz its so spaaaayshall. I have a PM2 black blade with digicam scales on order ( cough ) -whenever the heck that one will show up. That one I will carry but it prolly wont be as favored as the Manix 2.

For the moment, the Navaja is my favorite. I've yet to try the Caly 3.5, so that might change things up, and I DO love the look of the Hungarian ethnic.....

I'll say, as someone who only owns 4 Spydercos (Cara Cara 2, Persistence, Resilience, Endura 4) (3 if you don't count the Byrd) that my favourite is the Resilience, basically because it's a big chunk of useful knife (makes a great carving knife in a pinch).

Of course I'm looking at the Manix 2 XL, which might be my next Spyderco.

As an owner, I have to say Sal makes very good knives.

Fluted TI Native 5 of the recently produced models. This is a really hard question for me to answer!Let me think about it for a few years.

Congrats with the C22:thumbup: I have 2 of the newer CF ones (not quite as nice as yours) and it cuts way above it's size. It's in the top 5 for sure;)

I think I've tried almost every knife Spyderco has made and the carbon fiber Military is imho the best. 111g of Win :D[/URL]

This thread was sorely lacking pics..

I agree. My three Millies. The one on the left has been with me since 1992. Seen a lot of pocket time, and still looks good. Clip screws stripped, dis-assembled it and re-drilled / re-tapped them for larger more stout screws. Shaved off the back sides and re-assembled. Use heat shrink tubing on the non-blackened clip. The 1992 model and the all black model get swapped out for right hand pocket duty, depending on what color pants I am wearing. The left hand model always goes where I go. The 1992 model has been honed countless times in 21 years, usually only with an ultra fine diamond hone. Never needed to use anything harsher than that. Hence the blade shape 21 years later is almost Military perfect.

I love the blade etching on the 92 version, much more pleasing than the Earth versions sold today.
