All you Alaskans out there, what are you going to blow your PFD on?

Alaska uses money made by oil on investments on a 5 year average. The profit from said investments is divided among Alaska residents who applied.

WTF?? I gotta live in a state that is flat broke:grumpy: :D Thats cool guys. Hope you buy some very nice stuff... now if I could get everyone in Alaska to just send me $1 each...

If I lived in Alaska, I would spend it on good winter gear, maybe studded tires......

Chainsaw, gun? Maybe ammo?

Oooh, solar panels?

Well if I were in Alaska and had $900 to blow... I would but a ZT 0561. Well that's what I would want. In reality my wife would get the money for something silly like a purse.

While we were visiting your beautiful state in 2011, we took a guided tour of Juneau, and our tourguide told us about the PFD. Pretty cool that the state pays you to live there!

I wonder if North Dakota or Montana will start something like this due to the Bakken Oil Field.

Don't blow it all on one knife! Get a nice folder and a nice fixed blade.

I live in Juneau and work in butchering.

I had absolutely no idea that Alaska did this sort of thing. It's insane...in a good way! If I had $900 to spend on knives, I'd get a Hinderer and a nice Leatherman multitool.
