All you Alaskans out there, what are you going to blow your PFD on?

The cost of living in AK is far more than the yearly bonus. Its nice to get some of your money back but it doesn't make up for the fact that it costs a lot to live there.
 
Costs a lot to live there....unless you can hunt for your own food, trap your own furs, have the know-how to build your own home, etc and then it wont be that pricey.

That being said, Alaska has far more reasons to use a knife so what do you have the most need for? If it was me, I would check what I need first and if it's all met, get what I want which would be getting a nice quality chopper and a folding knife.
