Hello! I have been on a mad hunt for a knife I purchased off of a Matco truck during the summer of 2007. For the life of me, I cannot remember the make or model, but if memory serves me right, It had a black or silver handle with grip tape in the handle, a sliding lock near the blade in the handle, dual thumb studs, was assisted opening, and had a stainless steel drop point blade. It may have been made by Schrade or Smith and Wesson, but I'm not entirely sure. I purchased it for around 60 dollars. I know this is a shot in the dark, but if anyone can locate this knife, it is y'all! Any help would be much appreciated!

I was thinking perhaps I might locate it with a Matco catalog from that year, but I can't locate one of those either. Drat.

Any takers?

Makes me wish I bought more off the MATCO truck.
I viagely remember the knife in question. I'm thinking Colonial was the maker. Or was that the MAC tools 2007 knife? I think Snap-On had a Buck that year.

You would be better off posting this in the general section of the forum, this area is for traditional (not locking and not assisted opening) knives:)

Good luck with your search!

Perhaps it was this?

Incase I am right, that is a Smith & Wesson SWATM.

There's also the SWATMB and the SWATMS. Black and serrated versions. As far as I can tell, they've all been discontinued, but can still be found for sale here and there.
