Allen Blade Combat Patrol Bowie - 10" blade of 5160, visible temper line. 1/4" stock, rounded spine and choil.
Micarta handle with red,white and blue spacers at the guard and butt, brass guard. Aluminum butt with lanyard hole. Heavy duty Kydex sheath with removable belt loop.
The knife is in new/unused condition. Sheath has a few scuffs from storage. The clear coat has a few minor scuffs and a little smoothing near the point.
Fit and finish is very nice and clean. Sterile with no maker's mark.
Allen Blade was a controversial member here at BF. No need to dredge up all the drama.
He was a very underrated maker regardless of the problems here and elsewhere. I don't know his current status as there is very little info on the web.
I purchased this piece back in the 90's. A currently made knife with these materials and build quality would run much higher than my asking price.
