Does anyone have an e-mail address for Allen Blade. I had a knife in the que with him and then changed employers (where I had been contacting him on e-mail) and have lost it. Thanks in advance.

Anyone out there have a current e-mail address for Allen Blade...? Apparently, none of the above ones work anymore (as of 11/19/02)... Been trying to follow-up with him on 4 videos he still owes me from nearly two years ago...! Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated...! Thanks...!

I don't know about the video's but, every knife of his I have held has been a really great piece of work. Handmade and high quality at a price that is competitive with Cold Steel and other production knives (within the same price range at least ;) )

I am looking forward to receiving a new knife from him that was special ordered a while back. I know the grinds will be great and the knife will serve me well for years to come, all at a good price too :)
 
All this teasin' and no pics? I've seen some of his work -- anyone have a few to post?

Is/has anybody received any blades from Allen lately... I have had a large order comming... for a long time. Would be nice to know his production is moving.

Unfortunately for me, Pastor Blade has not replied to any of my e-mails ever since earlier in July (that's including the ones I've recently sent via all the addresses you've provided). I wish he would at least acknowledge receiving my e-mails by just replying with a quick note to say "Hi". I agree with you Sid...Allen's work in the past have been 1st rate. I've been carrying as an EDC: a 2-1/2" full-flat-ground drop-point-blade which he'd made for me several years back. The knife was absolutely perfect and rugged too...! Like many others here, I also have another knife order pending to be filled by Allen. I'm still waiting for my Equinox Recurve. I realize that he may still have to fill many previous knife orders before mine... :rolleyes: But I really think these knife-making-tutorial videos would be quite easy and quick for him to copy off. I've enjoyed all his previous videos because they're quite informative and shows how he makes his knives...

Same here Chubbs, I'll move to a new place so I dropped him a note but didn't get reply from him too.

At least I know he is still making knife. That's good.
 
I'm amazed this is shocking to anyone. This is the man's MO. He screws a lot of people. He comes back and appologizes saying he has changed his ways. He fills a couple of orders. Then he drops out of contact with everyone's money. Next will come the lies. He's an excellent con man. He's been running it for years, and people still fall for it. I'm not quite sure what to think of a man who consistently does this going out and getting ordained as a minister. Then again, that could be another lie. I never know what to believe about Mr. Blade. THe lies are so numerous, it's hard to cut through to see the truth.

I thinks its time for the people who have not recieved there orders to get together and get a lawyer.
 
He ought to change his name to pastor pt barnum.

JR, he'll never fool HIM, as a matter of fact it'll probably cost him more at the end.
 
I can speak for no one other then myself but, overall my dealings with AllenBlade have been good. He works a job during the day and has a family to take care of so, often there probably isn't much time left in the day or work week to make knives.

Like many other knifemakers I have dealt with in the past, deliveries have taken longer then I originally thought they would but, the items have always arrived. I have never felt lied to or cheated so, I have at times wondered about the negative posts I have so often seen. Obviously, my experiences are apparently very different from several other forum'ites.

Allen can work 24/7 but he still needs to fill the orders he was paid for. Undoubtedly, he is sending knives to people that have placed orders long after the rest of us.

I have come to believe anyone who thinks Allen will fulfill their orders is dreaming. Especially if this character has your money.
