Hi All,
As you can see from the picture I am just about finished with this knife. Literally I just need to epoxy it all together. So here is the question. When setting a hidden tang I usually fill the handle with epoxy about 4/5 full then push in the tang. No big deal the epoxy gets displaced and I clean it up with acetone. Usually while doing this I have the handle taped up to help with the clean up. In this case because I need to line up the file work on the bronze and the handle I will have to let the epoxy set up some before cleaning up the overflow. I don't want it setting up in the groves in the handle. I use 1 hour epoxy for this and before I start I need to know how long I can let the epoxy sit before it cures to much to be removed. Or any other suggestions. Sorry about the wordy question.
