Almost perfect fishing multi tool, the Surge

Ive long wanted a multi tool that would handle all my fishing chores. Two knife blades, one serrated for cutting rope. Needle nose pliers, hook sharpener,and line clipper. The Surge has all that ,a diamond file for Sharpening hooks, and scissors for clipping line.

Now, how about a jig eye cleaner ,for removing paint from jigheads. . The Surge will do that also. It comes with a replaceable micro screwdriver , for eyeglasses and such. I just sharpened one end to a point and now have a great tool for poking out the paint on jig heads. It works real well.

The point should also make a good splinter remover. If it ever dulls , just sharpen it with the diamond file.

Yeah, I got the Wave and love it. Don't know the differences between them, but they sounds similar. Great tool and I carry it with me every where!

Good stuff! I am always using another hook to pop the paint out of a new jig.

I always use a hook too. Spinnerbait hooks work well. Then you have a hook that needs sharpening.

I think the Wave would be better for me. The surge is huge. It may prove to be to cumbersome, then I will have to acquire a Wave.
