Almost Ready To Ship - 2015

First project is my boy and I are going to try our hands at crafting a Kuksa Cup. I'll try to post some Kuksa Cup JK pics.

I just read every page of this and drooled over ever picture....August is so far away for my custom JK!

Pair Of WoodKarvers, one in tan micarta with red liners, and one in Tiger Maple.

Squirrel Knife blank.

The WoodKarvers look awesome; can't wait to get mine next month (and for the heat to break, carving on the porch isn't nearly as relaxing when it's 90+ degrees). That Squirrel Knife is very interesting.

That looks GOOD!!! May have to rename it to something like "DIANA, (the sexy little huntress)"
Can't wait to see it and see what Peter does with it!

We just have to see if Peter reappears soon. If not, we will figure something out.

Finally, the squirrel knife is revealed!
Looks like a handy small game zipper Brad.

Defiantly a purpose built design. I hope the very fine tip holds up. This is to replace my old Schrade slim stockman for small game cleaning and that drastic California or Turkish clip blade is the bomb for that work! It will be a test of Johns heat treat and I'm confident that it will work well. John did a remarkable job on a very difficult knife to grind. This should prove to be a real scalpel. Peter (KYenglish)is going to do the handle and sheath and I think I'm going to just let him do his thing without direction from me.

I'm digging them carving knives by the way! Another purpose built design!

Thanks again for that saw Mykel! Used it a little tonight to make a fire in the fire pit. Little bugger saws seasoned maple very well. I can only imagine what those Japanese saws you guys have would be like!

Squirrel season in Illinois opened today by the way!( I'll wait until mid September. less heat, less mosquitoes, bigger squirrels)

EO1 Hunter in black canvas micarta.

EO1 Hunter Sheepsfoot in bocote.

EO1 Hunter in tan canvas micarta with red liners and rounded spine.

Toby`s Knife in black canvas micarta and black liners.

I'm likin' the squirrel knife . I can see that one always being on the belt.
I like the name "HUNTRESS" - very evocative.

some great looking knives coming out the shop laterly.
