Awesome! With that pair I can't think of a situation a person would be unprepared for.
I know what wood I'm putting on the B&T, but I'm undecided on the MT XL.

Knice pair. :thumbup::thumbup:

Bluegill in maple burl and brass for Chad S.

EO1 Hunter Semi Wharncliff in bocote and brass for heefageLA.

Custom Collaboration between greatscoot and myself. His blade, my handle, in rosewood with red liners and mosaic pin.

So, this beauty arrived at my door yesterday and it is amazing. The blade came out perfect (razor sharp too), but what really makes this knife a joy to hold and use is the handle. It feels like it was custom designed for my hand. I will post some pictures in the pics thread in the next day or so.

Thanks again John.

Good to see a hawk coming out of Mokena.

Those woodcarvers... The long handle will give you a good leverage for carving.

I have a hard time with whittling/carving - this knife would be a good addition if a person was serious about it.

Another must have would be a knife with a curved blade for hollowing out wood.....hmmmmm.....

best

I had orders for 3 Hawks. 2 are done, I have one for March, so that leaves me material for 1 more.

Hey John,

If you can schedule late April or May I will relieve you of the material for a Hawk in oak.

Since I'm scheduling May now, does that work for you? Send me an email, that way I have a way of contacting you.

Pair of WoodKarvers in maple burl.

Belt Hawk in green canvas micarta.

Can't wait to get these in hand! The hawk will stay with me, but the carvers are gifts. I have a very good buddy who has gotten into carving in the last couple years (I have tried, and will likely keep doing so, but talent level is low) and he has a son who has some interest. We will be going up to visit sometime this summer and these will be going with. Even if the son loses all interest, I think these will get a great deal of use.

All three look beautiful. Thanks John!
