Almost Ready To Ship 2017

Chef's knife arrived today (razor sharp), just had a chance to open it up and look at it before I ran out the door. More pics later today.

Nice, they have always caught my eye.
Many of us use the knives in our kitchen more than the ones in our pocket/sheath, but we often neglect the kitchenware and drop big coin on a knife that sees 1/2 of the use.

What is the stock thickness on the kitchen knife?
Can it be flat ground, or would that make it too thin to support the edge? (This is hard to tell without knowing the stock thickness.)
 
That is a nice looking Worker. That pattern gets a lot of attention.

My interest is also piqued by this Tanto. I will be keeping an eye out for it.
 
I need to get a shot of my stretched worker. I haven't even taken a picture since I got it weeks ago, but it found a permanent home in my kitchen block and it gets more use than any other knife I own.
 
John, that Osage Orange Compact Kephart is gorgeous! Can't wait until it arrives! (but I'll have to). Thanks again for another great K!
