Wow, all of these look great but, I am real partial to the walnut! Real nice job, as usual, John!
It showed up today. The walnut really suits this knife. Just beautiful.
Do you know how many Michigan Trails you’ve made total? Best guess if you’re not sure?
I’m really liking mine. It’s a great easy to carry all around outdoors knife.
My guess would be 20-25
Do you think it will ever replace that Buck 102 you got from me years ago?
It already has. I actually gifted that 102 to someone who had recently lost theirs a couple of years ago.
Stainless Hurley Creek arrived today. It is perfect.
Thank you, John.
The only stainless one ever made, that was the last of the thicker stainless steel.
It couldn't be better in my opinion. The right thickness to be comfortable without scales and thin enough to have a great cutting profile.
It looks awesome John, I can't wait to get it in hand and start working on a sheath!
You did a great job on the design!
Thank you, hopefully I can feed it some wood in the near future! I'm also gonna try and take lots of photos while I make the sheath, and do a WIP thread here to show the whole process from paper to final product.
Can't wait to get that one in!
You should get it Monday
Is that the "Worker"?
Can you post a pic or two of your HC after you Christen it?
Yes it is
I will. I've been crazy busy and it's been non-stop rain here lately so hopefully I can do it soon.
