I personally thought it sucked. Ended quickly most people missed they're dog or wife or whatever. Only went 30 something days I can't recommend it.

I haven't watched any of the series in a few years. The initial premise was pretty good, but it's like they inteview and look for more emotionally unstable entertainers for drama, and fewer actually skilled outdoorsmen/women.
