Alpha Hunter folder Sheath 277

Sorry if this has been talked about before but i'm struggling with the search system on here a bit.

I just bought 2x Alpha Hunter folders 277 with brown leather sheaths, very nice knives and i'm well pleased with them.
They both came packed in the yellow Buck Knives cardboard boxes but from different retailers.
Heres my question; both sheaths are stamped on the reverse side with '276' which is for the guthook models number. All my other Bucks have correct number on sheaths to match knife model and was expecting sheaths with 277 on them.
Hope you don't think i'm being too picky and if Buck only supply '276' sheaths for both 276/277 models then thats fine but just wondered if there are 277 sheaths out there and if so i might buy some so my knives and sheaths match.

The burgundy leather sheath that my 277 is in has the 276 stamp

The cordura sheath that my 279 is in just has Alpha Hunter on the front. No number.

Both of these sheaths can be worn vertical or horizontal.

Thats all the help I can give ya. Might look at the Buck website and see that they list.
 
The 276 is correct. The 276 is actually the gut hook model, but the knives (276/277) are identical (except for the guthook). The sheath is correct.

Do you, or anyone, know if ya order a LEATHER Alpha sheath from Buck that it will have the horizontal carry option?

Yes, I believe all the Alpha folder sheaths offer both the vertical and horizontal carry options.
