Hello dear brothers,
With God's good will i managed today to finish this exclusive puukko - The No1 Alpha as i called it.
The blade is clay hardened 1095 carbon steel with a wild hamon and a razor sharp scandi zero grind with an added fake back edge for an aggressive look.
The handle itself is an exclusive combination of two types of stabilized burl wood, a 'storm clouds' piece of maple burl and a natural cross cut 'sunray' maple burl. They were combined in different shapes to offer an eye catching landscape and were interfered with subtle spacers made of nickel silver and black v fiber. The finish is carefully made and the handle was hand carved for a plus of look and value.
Please believe me that this handle took me a lot of work to create and assemble
Overall a very unique knife that looks impressive and is valuable not only through the fine material used but also through a huge amount of work and lots of details involved
Overall the knife is app 7.5" with an app 3.35" blade.
The price for this knife is 230 usd (please add 35 usd for a nice vegetable tanned thick ox leather sheath made by my lovely wife - on request).
