This maybe a simple meal, but it's up there on my favorite meals list :D

Breakfast people! Breakfast! Of course, I would eat anything shown thus far for breakfast mind you, but let's try to keep it to breakfast centric foods in here for this one.

Crimson, you beautiful bastard, you had me at scotch eggs. A doff of my cap to you good sir.

Erik, I didn't take any pics after I got to eating, but there is a gallon jug of salsa, a bottle of chipotle tabasco, and a stack of tortillas that took up residence next to that omelet just a few short minutes later.

OK, that sounds better - I was worried about you for a minute there Derek.

Gentlemen, that's some fine grub. A little too fancy for my poor cookin' skills though. All I do is spit the pig and turn it.

(Ok, I can't even do that, the pig was served at a party)

Well I started taking pictures of my homemade waffles but I got distracted when they were done so I forgot to take a cooked picture. :D

That's kalua pig, served with a side of poi and coconut jello.
Steak, mmm. I'm a fan of a nice big (15-20oz) tbone marinated in Allegro hot 'n' spicy.
Back to breakfast- My fave is chicken from Claudia Sander's dinner house with waffles, butter, real maple syrup, biscuits, and coffee.

Down with a sinus infection today. Maybe the mega biscuit tomorrow.

Guyon - you have my sympathy, there is some nasty crap going around.
I took my last dose of antibiotic tonight and tomorrow is my last prednisone for the sinus infection that kept me home from work all week (I thought it was the flu when my temp went over 102 and I broke down and went to the doctor) -- didn't want to eat for 2 days, last night was my first full meal with no bad aftereffects this week. (yeah, you guys heard it right - I skipped all 11 meals 2 days in a row!)

This one hit fast, but I had stashed away a scrip of Amoxicillin for just such an occasion, so I jumped on its ass.
Fever broke today around 5 or so. Mucinex-D is a wonder drug in my opinion. Big difference in sinus pressure a couple of hours after taking it.
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Damn, my head still hurts though.

agree on the mucinex - i generally use the 12 hour horse pill during the day and a 12 hour sudafed at night so I don't have crap draining down the back of my throat all night.
my old doc used to prescribe me a 15 day run of augmentin 875's with 3 refills, but she moved to Texas this year and the new doc is more $$ hungry than that so I have to go in every time I get a sinus infection or my allergies turn into bronchitis. (allergic to elm pollen and leaf mold)

Dang ya'll sound like it has been around here. My whole house has been down with that same crud for the last five weeks or so. The steroids helped me kick the bronchitis, but then right as that is over, I get some stomach bug that made me nauseous (and since I refuse to vomit on principle alone) it was rough going for a few days. Biscuit man, get to feeling better soon, and I am glad to hear you are on the mend Erik.

You can't imagine how much I have enjoyed the peach preserves. And that's all I have to say about that.

are they the same batch of preserves we had at the gathering for the Sunday morning biscuits?
that was good stuff!

Dang I thought crimsinfalcon7 was building a bacon shelter from that first picture! Just think a shelter you could eat after you're done!..... Leave no trace!

Alright, hungry souls! It's time for a breakfast of tasty, tasty DOOM!!!
