;)I love my Kershaw knives, every one of them. I carry my Blur with me pretty much every day, and as some of you may remember, I got a Cryo which has been seeing some nice use too. In my previous thread a few people came on and suggested I save my pennies and purchase a ZT. This was a BIT silly on that thread, where I was contemplating the purchase of a 30 dollar knife, but truth be told it got me thinking. I've never bought an EDC/Pocket Knife for over 100 dollars before, and that price point is pretty much what I'm missing in my collection. I've got quite a few 50-80 dollar knives (they typically stay in my drawer except my Blur and occasionally my Endura) but no "premium" knives that would really feel uh... PERFECT... in my hand. Something I can be proud of owning, like a sports car, for analogue's sake.

That being said, I own a Cold Steel Hold 1, lovely tac-style knife, but not legal so not worth carrying, even in Texas. But I own a couple Voyagers, and I own a Spyderco. What I would like is for you mega fans out there to sell me out a ZT as opposed to a Benchmade, a Spyderco, or even a CS premium knife! Hell, even the Blur comes in SV30. Get creative! I wanna hear you stories and your love for ZT, even if its as simple as "this knife and I have been through alot together, and I trust it with my life."

Look forward to hearing from ya'll.

To be honest I would trust my 0200 with my life.

I'll post a long and very drawn out explanation later i got class!!!

Oh and look at kershaw guy blems....

I've owned lots of Kershaws and ZT's (and many other brands). The main thing I can tell you about ZT is that they are just heavier duty than your average Kershaw. You really have to hold them in your hand and use them to understand. Of all the ZT's I've purchased (0300, 0301, 0200, 0550 and 0560), my favorite is the ZT 0550 (2nd Gen). I own a Hinderer XM-18 and to be honest, while the XM is by far my favorite folder I own, the 0550 doesn't give to much up in terms of toughness, smoothness, etc. The only thing I'd change on my 0550 is maybe the steel; I like their Elmax better. That being said, ALL of the ZT's I've owned have been TOP quality heavy use folders built like tanks and made right here in the USA. Some may be a little big for some users but the 0550 just fits most people. Everyone I've show it to loves it. Pick one up, you won't be dissappointed.

My 0200 and 0400 have seen a lot of use, arguably best ergos of the ZT folders. I liked the 560 a lot, until I got my 550 and put a little choil on it. Haven't carried the 560 since then. Of the 3, I carry my 550 the most.

They're more solid than anything else I've ever owned (folders). They tempt you into abusing them, and they take whatever you give them. I break all of my gear, even fixed blades, but I haven't broken a ZT except for a chip in the blade.

To be honest I would trust my 0200 with my life.

I love them because the fit and finish is amazing there smooth there ergonomic and cut like lighting!.....what else needs to be said?

The 0550/0551 are great! Love to use mine, here is a pic of a couple.

There isn't a folder on the planet I'd trust my life to. Only my Swamp Rat fixed blades fall into that category. Having said that, if I HAD to trust my life to a folder, it would certainly be my 0200. That knife is a TANK!!! :)

Awesome designs... premium materials... superb craftsmanship... made in the USA... backed by a KAI's excellent customer service and warranty.

If you like the Blur, then I'd recommend the ZT 0350. It's like an amped-up Blur. Similar size and lines, but it's got a beefier blade, grippy G10 handles, and thicker steel liners/lock. My favorite ZT's of the ones I've handled so far would probably be the 0301, 0350, and 0550.

I see chet beat me to telling you about sticks elevator adventure. I can say I used my zt 0400st as my main carry for the fire dept for 2 or 3 years. It held up great opened a few doors cut a few wires and cables a few pairs of pants and shirts along with five inch hose. Never failed me. I broke a pocket clip once getting caught on webbing, and had the trac tec replaced once. It was traded to a friend on here and looks like he traded it onto someone else and its still being loved and used! They are just plain awesome knives that give you confidence in doing whatever it is before you.

Yeah you traded it to me...and then Nevermore got it from me and it's been refinished and is still going Strong...ZTs will last a lifetime.

The best $250 knife I own is the 0560.Worth every penny to me.I am looking forward to future releases.Good quality product.

Just buy one, then no one will have to sell you on them. These babies speak for themselves.

I love my 0303 because it commands authority when you flip it open lol. I was super hesitant to spend the cash but kershawguy had excellent prices and I never read one negative review about the brand. Nothing but high praise for build quality and warranty.

Here is a good reason, buy it and use it, you will probably never have to buy another knife again. I look at higher end knife like I could have a couple zts for that price and they will be just as good!

I still consider the 0300 to have the most well exicuted lockface geometry on the market. It's the only folder I consider to be 100% rock solid.

I was reluctant at first too... Now I have purchased 4 blems, and one new. Maybe I'll post pics later.

I was hesitant at first just based on price my first zt came in december I believe and I have 10 and there isn't a single one I would ever consider selling unless it was for another zt that is

I saw the 0301 and thought I'd never need one of them. But as you progress in the knife life you just gravitate towards better knives. The 0301 ended up in my pocket and I never looked back. A truly awesome knife, I added a 0550BLK, 0350CBZDP, 0350ZDPCKT, 0121, 0100 to the ZT pile since then and there will be more to join the that family.

Pick up a blem ZT from Dave to start out with and get a feel for it. Not much of a gamble at $165 shipped.
