Hey guys, I have a quick question for you. But first a backstory.

I have been carrying a 0301 for quite some time, iraq, Afghanistan and countless
responses. It has taken a serious beating. It's my favorite folder.

Because of said beating I recently.had to reprofile it because of how thick the edge has become. I am looking for an alternate to carry in my upcoming Afghanistan deployment, but can't afford another 0301. 0200 came to mind, but I wanted to consult with the kershaw brain trust before pulling the trigger. So what do you guys think? Is it as rugged as ole reliable? Will it perform nearly as well as my 0301 in the field?
This is the second time I'm trying to post this so I hope it works!

Thank you for your time and assisting a bomb tech with the most powerful tool of all, knowledge.

If you get me a shipping address, I'll hook you up prior to your next deployment.

Thomas and KAI to the rescue, awesome! I can almost guarantee that a 0200 would have done the job... Sleeker, "faster" (in my hands),rock solid and just as effective! The fact that you managed to "wear out" the 0301 is beyond belief, most of us won't even get close to wear of the factory edge ;)

Thomas, wow that is unbelievably nice of you! do you have an email I can contact you with as I can not seem to send a message? What an unbelievable gesture! And Thank You so much!

CrackedBlade, I wouldnt say wear out, but I have definetly used my 0301 as it was meant to be used, Hard and fast in dangerous places.

WOW!!! That is so cool:thumbup:

Thomas--class act:thumbup: Bjblade Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service and all the others that serve.

Stay safe and God Bless:)

Paul

I really want to thank all of you for your support. It really makes a differance that people still give a shot. It makes the hard times a little better.

Wouldn't expect any less of Thomas or Kai!

Bjblade, thanks so much for doing what you do!

(Oddly, I was talking to someone tonight from NASA who mentioned that her brother was an EOD that had done tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. I asked her to thank her brother as well).

Kneedeep,

eod is a very small and select field. Very few people possess the correct level of smart and crazy to do the job. Most of us know each other, and it is one of the few fields that all four service go to the same school, and our officers have to go to the same school as enlisted. It is the ultimate thrill to do what I do, but all the same thank you for the support.
