Alternative to cold steel Voyager large?

If you don't mind Chinese made, which many of the cheaper knives from big name brands already are, there are some really high quality Chinese knife companies popping up. Though it's much more expensive, the most impressive knife I've seen in quite some time is Chinese made and is the Reate Horizon D CF. I would prefer to buy American but quality is quality and it sold me on their capabilities.

Like I mentioned, the Kizer Vanguard line has some nice knives that would probably work for you. There are others but I'm not very familiar with them yet.

Also, Steel Will is a newer company that looks like they will be coming out with some great knives in the next few months you may be interested in. I think they contract their knives to be made all over and they aren't a Chinese owned company (I don't think).

What did you order so far? Good luck finding more that you like.
