Alternatives to Maxpedition's gearslingers

Not looking to "deal-spot" just interested in places people have had good prices and service.

For Maxpedition, the price may drop once it's added to the cart since they have a standard "minimum price" that dealers aren't supposed to go under.

I have a Mountainsmith bag that can be worn over the shoulder or as a lumbar pack. I have been pleased with it on all outings so far.
