Yep, liner lock. Blade comes pretty sharp, the jimping all over the place works great, the knife really locks into your hand. Only complaint about the knife is that the liner is very stiff and a little sharp on the edges, so my thumb was getting tore up a bit before it broke in.

Gosh that polished Spyderhawk sure looks familiarThe other alternative to the Superhawk is the Spyderhawk. It can be had in both PE and SE blades. And if you don't like the yellow handle, give it a dye job.
