Altoids PSK Knife!

No prob. Can you tell that reciprocating saws are my favorite shop tool?

I might be inclined to think so! You certainly know your Shlitz! I can see why you'd fancy them; they're handy as hell, you can cut almost anything, in any place, and even make knives from the saw blades! Right now, the belt sander is my favorite shop tool. It's new to me and I'm digging it's POWER!
 
I need a belt sander pretty fiercely but I've no where to put it. The best I can come up with is a rotary tool and I can tell you that it's no good for knife making... I've tried.
 
1x30 belt sanders are TINY. I found one at a yard sale for $10. It's not exactly the best for making high quality stupendous blades but for a beginner, like me, it'll work! I would say it takes up about the same amount of space as a blender. I think harbor freight has some 1x30's (not great quality) CHEAP. For the beginner, it's worth the scratch to get started tinkering.
