Alum rivets VS Brass..also, where to buy' em?

Hey guys

I've had bad experience with some alum rivets pitting out on me, I tend to prefer brass but the tarnish factor is a bit of a turn off to some people.

Is there such thing as a good alum rivet, should I stick with brass, or should I try stainless? Maybe I just have a crappy supplier, anyone have any good leads?
