I purchased this a few weeks ago, and decided it doesn't have the look I was seeking. I did install it on the knife - and it fits perfectly. FWIW, to my eye, it seemed that the lockup was a little earlier with this scale; though I don't know why that might be. (No promises that it will have ANY such impact on your knife)
I apologize for the lousy pictures - I just decided to post it, and the lighting sucks here (inside or out).
On the kitchen counter - no flash - this one shows the texture the best
Outside - no flash
Inside - with flash - note the reflection of the counter showing up in the scale
Inside - with flash - again, reflection from the surface shows in the texturing
Price removed - ad closed due to lack of interest.
