Am I glad I found CPK!

Birdhunter1220 Birdhunter1220 - did you get your EDC2 yet? Curious if it will displace your typical carry blade(s) and what your first/overall impressions are. You said you typically are a folder guy. What do you usually find yourself using a knife for (will this be a field knife exclusively, or daily user)? Let us now what you come away with.
 
It is being delivered today!!! I am not sure it will replace my folders probably will carry it also. I use my blades for everything. I have chicken, bee hives, a large garden and 1.5 acres to keep up. Also lots of bird hunting and deer every couple of years for meat in the freezer. I have carried a pocket knife since I was a kid so I think I would feel weird with out one in my pocket. It will be a little while before I can really test it. I have six more weeks in a aircast after my total ankle replacement. Going nuts in the house and so is my dog. :) But I will let you know my first impressions today. Have to get my wife to walk to the mail box in the snow. :)
 
I have a edc3 and ufk coming today too.
I feel like a kid on xmas eve, im going nuts.
Mailman comes at 2pm, and i dont think ill make it that long. Haha
Bummer about your ankle replacement, that sounds like no fun at all.
Just make sure to let it heal fully. :)

I am feeling the same way!! Get here will you :). Thanks for the advice and I will take my time...it is a long term thing for me. Want to be able to hunt all day behind my dog and that did not happen last year so decided to bite the bullet and get it done. Need to be ready for North Dakota in Oct.

My postman has the same package coming for me today at around 4pm, EDC3 and UFK, checking out the forums to pass time before the new additions arrive, got to remember to something nice for my wife also.;):eek:
 
IT IS HERE!! We have about 2ft of snow here and being in the county and on a dead end road they really do not get to us for plowing. So my wife comes to me and says "Can you cut up these boxes for me". I had just checked USPS and it said delivered! I said sure but would you please go to the mail box (I am in a air cast after total ankle replacement) and get my new knife? Now she would have gone with now problem by just me asking but I think she was tired of me talking about my new knife coming. So off she went. Now wow do I love it. Fits my hand perfect!! Just the right size for my very medium hands. Oh so sharp. Cut up the boxes with a laugh!! Can not wait to get out and really use it and it should be used. So here it is:

Is your wife named Kathy? The reason I ask is because I’m in the same boat.:( The postman dropped off an Amazon box but nothing from AIM.:rolleyes: Tomorrow is my wife’s day off, busted, again, need to remember to plug in the heater in the dog house.:confused:

Close Peggy, hope it is not to cold where you are, but it will be worth it.
 
feels good to look at birdhunters knife though. haha.
how many more boxes have you cut up.

Oh I cut up lots of boxes! And I have a feeling with the edge on this knife and the steel it will be long time before I even strop!
