Am I like the only one that likes the BG?

With the exception of the Japanese market Man Track, I've never seen any postings by anyone about non-tanto style Striders. Or is it just me that likes the lines of the BG?

I am a huge fan of the non-tanto Striders. Unfortunately, my large main battle tank, WB, is a tanto style blade. I love that knife dearly, but wish it was an MT. The only reason I got the WB was that it was available on the spot at a show. The BG is a nice tool as well, but I find I like the broader end of the MT. It might be only perception, but it just looks stronger than the BG. I do, however, have two other Striders, an SA and a PH, that are non-tanto. They both work like a champ. My folder and neck knife that will be obtained the first week of Feb are both non-tanto. So, there are others out there just like you. OR...........are you sure you aren't just like me?

Right tool for the right job. All my primary tactical knives for work are Tanto bladed striders (WB's, BT, and DB's)..why, because they often get used as breaching and pry tools and the geometry of those blades is better for that task. With that said, I have a tiger striped BG sitting in the opening in the drivers door of my Suburban for deployment as a weapon-it is a "flesh poker" pure and simple. It will still function as a typical Strider edged tool, but I find it to be geared more towards the weapons end. I currently carry two Striders in my current aviation assignment, a DB in my nomex jacket, and a HT mounted with a Gerber military multi-tool on a custom kydex mount in my flightsuit pocket-both have a purpose, and you just have to figure out what tool you need, and what you are going to use it for. With that said, I have found the WB to be the best all around compromise blade of the bunch-it does everything well.
