That D2 marking would have to go for starters. And there looks like a bit of silver visible through the lanyard hole. Stand down, soldier, this is not the silent sentry deanimating tool you are looking for.
Nope, the sharpened edge and the logo and steel markings aren't truly black. Keep searching, never give up.![]()
The OP is on a quest. A quest for a knife that is so black that there is nothing about it that is not black. The sort of knife that might make you say...I must be missing something here, what the heck is that?
Maybe that is why I couldn’t see the original image... so blacked out it had gone “beyond tactical”...The OP is on a quest. A quest for a knife that is so black that there is nothing about it that is not black. The sort of knife that might make you say...
I mean, how much more black could it be? And the answer is, ‘None. None more black.’
Why do you say any of that?Pocket clip on wrong end and not likely really d2 and probably poorly ht'd?
Is this a clone? You do like to post clones from the last thread you made about srm.
So ... close.

It's always logos that do you in, filtrum.
I have the answer. Before deploying into the kill zone, (outside Dunkin Donuts on floor 2 of the mall), apply burnt cork carefully to logo and edge. Voilà! Those sentries won’t stand a damn chance. Poor fools. The logos are bad, but it's nothing compared to the tactical advantage lost by having a reflective edge. If they just removed the edge from the knife, it would be a superb covert deanimation tool.
Reminds me of the zt knives 801brzSo ... close.
